Pastor Bob Grenier
Pastor Bob Grenier is founding Pastor of Calvary Chapel Visalia established in 1978. He and his wife Gayle were married in 1977. Born in Winnipeg, Canada, in 1947.

Pastor Bob's Testimony

Pastor Bob shares his testimony of coming to know Christ: “My parents attended church on occasion, but enrolled me in a Catholic Boarding School. I spent several years there, believed in God, but had not yet come to know that He was truly alive, that He had actually died for my sins and wanted me to come into a personal relationship with Him. Throughout high school, I would attend church now and then, but never had any real interest in God. In the Marine Corps, in Vietnam, I attended church services every Sunday. I still did not know He was real, and alive. It was only later on (1973), after years of trying to find happiness through various pursuits, that I finally came to know of His love and grace towards me. I recognized that I was a sinner and that He was calling me to Himself. I asked Jesus Christ to forgive me of my sins and save me from my sins. Immediately I had a desire to work for God, as I understood it, trying to help other people. As time went on, it became clear to me that God was calling me to be Pastor-Teacher of His Word. It has been my joy, and continues to be my joy, to serve God, by feeding His people, through the simple verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible. My wife and I have had the privilege of being the first two members of Calvary Chapel Visalia, (1978) and look forward to serving Him here until we meet Him face to face.”

Pastor Bob’s favorite verses in the Bible are Proverbs 3:5-6 and Ephesians 2:8-10.
