Ministry Intern / Administrator Kevin Mizner

Kevin was born in Mitchell, South Dakota, moving to the Central Valley in 1977.  After graduating from Hanford High School, Kevin attended the College of Sequoias and then began a 24-year career in law enforcement.  Kevin was married to Sharon in 1993 and has raised  six children: Shannan, Megan, Derek, Michelle, Sean and Jacob.  Kevin and Sharon have  three grandchildren: Jayden, Isaiah and Jordan.

Kevin shares his testimony:  “I was brought up in a Christian home by my parents, who insured that I was active in our home church.  As I approached adulthood, I knew who Jesus was and believed that He was real, but I didn’t let Him control my life.  After many years of walking in the ways of the world, I decided it was time to get back into church.  I was baptized in 1996 and began to walk a different path.  Sharon and I attended a number of churches over the years and then found our home at Calvary Chapel Visalia in 2004.  I love working with children and have worked extensively in children’s programs on Wednesday nights.  I have truly received God’s blessing and grace in being given the opportunity to serve Him on a full-time basis.”

Kevin’s favorite books of the Bible are Genesis, Daniel and Acts.  His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13.
