Mexico Ministry Newsletter

 Dear Friends and Family,                                                                                May, 2007

In case you have been wondering about the Bonsell’s, David & Anna, we are still in Mexico. We have been real bad with personal updates, due to the great amount of work that has kept us very busy. This past March we started our 18th year here in Mexico. Every year seems to get shorter. We can remember when we were getting ready to come to Mexico, it seems like it was just yesterday.

Last summer David went to the doctor for a complete physical. Since we have been in Mexico he had not been to the Doctor. Well praise God everything came out fine in all the tests that were administered.

We have been very busy teaching at churches, women’s groups, and pastors’ monthly meetings. This past January we traveled to the coast of Hermosillo, Sonora, about (7) hours northwest of us. There David met with the pastors and leaders of that area to encourage them with a teaching. Then the next day Anna did an all day Sunday school workshop. We were very encouraged to see with what enthusiasm the teachings and training were received.

We had to travel to the states during the month of March. We traveled as far north as Vancouver, Washington visiting churches and friends along the way. It was so exciting to visit with many dear friends whom we have appreciated their words of encouragement and prayers throughout our years here in Mexico. Oh, but was it cold in some areas, with snow and rain! It was a cold we are not accustomed to anymore. Very different from the sub-tropical weather we live in during most of the year.

Upon our return to Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico we took a few days to unpack and rest, then we began to fill all our orders for Sunday school and other teaching materials. We are also downloading and preparing V.B.S. (vacation Bible school) materials for many churches. David has prepared packets for the pastors on marriage ceremonies and funeral services, since many of them were asking David for this material.

Now we are working a lot on the translation of books and other necessary materials that many ministries are in much need here.

We want to thank God for His strength and for all of you that have stood faithfully in prayer and support with us all these years because that is what has made it possible for us to be here this long.
