Mom-to-Mom Ministry

Mom-to-Mom Ministry is a ministry to all moms, but especially those with young children. It is designed to nurture these moms through Bible study, group discussion, guest speakers and fellowship. Our first meeting for the 2008-2009 year is Tuesday, September 2nd.

Meetings
Meetings are scheduled for the 1st Tuesday of each month (September thru May) with an outside activity scheduled later on in the month. All meetings will run from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. Arrive a little early to drop off your children and enjoy some fellowship. Those two hours are filled with fun, food, and encouragement from other moms, as well as guest speakers who offer Biblical instruction for everyday life. Once registered, you can expect a phone call from your small group leader who will welcome you and give you more details.

Childcare
Children are not only welcome to attend, they are encouraged! Childcare is provided for children ages infants through 10 years old. They will be cared for by an especially loving and qualified staff using a fun curriculum sure to keep them busy and happy. Should you feel the need to keep a young baby with you, and not in childcare, you are most welcomed to do so. We just ask that you use discernment in regards to any distractions caused during guest speakers and small group discussions. Otherwise, relax knowing your children are in the loving environment provided. Come enjoy the rare treat of fun adult fellowship with other moms!

Cost
The cost is $30 for the full 9 months. Registration begins August 5th.

Volunteer Staff Needs
We need several teachers for the children's ministry at Mom-to-Mom. It meets on the 1st Tuesday of ech month from 9:15-11:45. Contact our office if you are interested in helping @ 687-0220.

If you cannot help at every meeting but are available to help occasionally, we can put you on our substitute list.

Also, if you are able to help financially to off-set the costs for those Mom's that cannot afford to pay the registration fee please contact the church office @ 687-0220. Thank you.
